Congratulations to Freshman Christina Murphy on winning the District 300m Hurdles and placing 4th in the 100m Hurdles today! She will compete on Wednesday at the Regional Meet at Troy in the 100m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles!

HS Track and Field competed in District Finals today! Alexis Deffren (1600m & 3200m); Brandy Huber (100m); Christina Murphy (100m Hurdles & 300m Hurdles); Jack South (1600m); Warren Murphy, PJ McCarty, Kylan Posey, & Gavin Valentine (4x100 and 4x 200); Gavin Valentine, Dylan Adams, Charlie Jordan & PJ McCarty (4x400).

Congratulations to Coach Kenny Waddle and the Lady Rockets Softball Team clinching a District Championship over Ansonia! They will play in the Regional Semi-finals on Wednesday, May 22nd, 5pm at Northmont, 4916 National Road, Clayton, OH 45315. Great Job Lady Rockets!

The Fayetteville FFA had an amazing day yesterday! They held their Elementary Ag. Day, which included a petting zoo for Field Day and a Drive Your Tractor to School! For the petting zoo, students got to see and learn about rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats, ponies, cattle, and even puppies. Thank you to everyone that brought animals! They had over 20 members helping assist with the field day rotations as well! For the Tractor Drive, which is back for the first time in 5 years, they had 12 members participate, driving tractors of all shapes and sizes! They cannot thank everyone enough that played a role in allowing it to happen. The Fayetteville FFA would like to thank our administration, School Resource Officer Noonan, Fayetteville mayor and council, Fayetteville Police, and the Fayetteville Fire Department! Thanks again to all that helped make their great day possible!

HS Track & Field, District Meet was on Thurs. for Field Events. Shout out to Brant Crosley, Jack, South, Alex, Bradshaw, Avery Jakeway, and Jayden Adkins. Avery and Alex made it to finals. Avery throwing shotput 28–8 placing eighth overall, Alex, jumping 19',4" placing seventh overall! Multiple members setting new personal records.

Tomorrow, Softball will play Ansonia High School in the District Finals at 11am. This game will take place at Wright State University's Softball Field (5736 Raider Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324). Big wins tonight from softball and baseball! Baseball moves on to the district semifinals after their win tonight over Ripley. This will take place on Monday at home against Felicity. Softball moves on to the district finals, with opponent and date TBD. Softball officially becomes sectional champs tonight! Great wins from our teams!

Hello, This is Nathan Birkhimer, and I am the Ag. Teacher and FFA Advisor here at Fayetteville-Perry High School. I wanted to give the community a heads up and let you know that this Friday, May 17th, some of my FFA members will be participating in a Drive Your Tractor to School Day! We will be meeting at the Township Building in the morning around 7:15 am, and at about 7:40 am, we will head down 50 and 68 towards the school. Students will park their tractors in the gravel/grassy area beside the athletic field scoreboard area. At the end of the day, students will leave with their tractors at about 3:10 pm. I wanted to let you know to help plan with your Friday commute. Our School Resource Officer will be assisting with the event, blocking traffic at the light and as we turn into the school, to keep all the tractors together. Thank you! We are excited to bring this activity back.

Tonight's softball tournament game has been cancelled. The game is currently rescheduled for tomorrow at 5pm, provided that the weather cooperates. Any updates will be provided!

High School Track and Field recently competed in the SHAC Meet. Our boys team placed 6th, and our girls team placed 4th overall. Congrats to Christina Murphy on winning the 100m and 300m Hurdles, which earned her all league in both events! Track will start their District Events today at New Richmond. Track events will take place today, with field events taking place on Thursday.

Rocket baseball opens tournament play with a big win over New Miami. They will play Ripley at home this Wednesday at 5pm. Keep it going Rockets!
